Camouflage for
standing out

I’m a computational artist. I design mathematical functions to create art.

Camonova is my attempt to create new styles of camouflage: patterns that express something, that catch the eye, that feel like they belong to a world of their own.

A playground for patterns, color, and art

I start with shapes, rhythms, branching structures, and flowing fields. I write the functions, combine different systems, and try different palettes. Then I look, adjust, and follow the unexpected. These artworks are generated by mathematical functions, not by an LLM.

A small change can take a piece somewhere completely different. I’m interested in the choices between those possibilities—the point where a mathematical process becomes a personal piece of work.

Collections with their own instinct

I gather related studies into concepts and color stories. Some are quiet and earthy. Others are graphic, restless, or bright. Each collection is a way of exploring how the same underlying ideas can take on a new character.

Take it into the world

I imagine these patterns as prints, textiles, and everyday surfaces. Camouflage for standing out. Camouflage goes nova.
